About Robin Del Pesco

The owner and operator of LA Private Trainers (LAPT) is Robin Del Pesco. Born in Connecticut, Robin moved to Santa Barbara in 1979 and was immediately influenced by the Santa Barbara lifestyle of clean eating and outdoor activity. He began a career in the restaurant business and opened his first restaurant, a specialty breakfast house called Bridgecreek, in Berkeley, California. Featured articles in Gourmet magazine ensured a steady flow of customers.

When Los Angeles called, Robin discovered he had been neglecting his health; so he began educating himself in fitness and nutrition. After becoming a certified trainer, he opened LA Private Trainers in Hollywood and Sherman Oaks. Robin's unique exercise techniques, along with his knowledge of fitness and talent for motivating people, have all contributed to the growth and popularity of LA Private Trainers.

In addition to working with such celebrities as Jodie Foster and Steven Spielberg, Robin has created exercise and nutrition plans that have produced dramatic physical changes for thousands of his clients. These clubs offer an exclusive upscale environment in which to work out with a highly trained Private Trainer who has been personally taught and managed by Robin. Even with his ever-growing client list, he still checks on each client's program, to ensure the progress of their exercise and nutrition journey.

Robin is still expanding his fitness programs throughout Los Angeles with new clubs scheduled and on site training in Rehab and senior specialties.

Robin's philosophy:

Fitness starts in your head and is the most important factor to your health. But even if you are highly motivated, you are unlikely to be successful if you have very little knowledge of exercise and nutrition. Nutrition is all about the energy you use to fuel your body. To become fit, you must learn to make the right food choices and commit to an exercise program that makes sense for you. And you need to continually adapt your program as your body ages and changes. My clubs offer the kind of smart fitness training that keeps people in a "fit curve." That is why my clients come back year after year.
